South America Snow Sessions Update

SNOWBOARDER field correspondent and brilliant lenswoman, Ashley Barker recently checked in with us from her SASS summer post at the base of the Andes Mountain Range on the northern tip of Patagonia in San Carlos de Bariloche. Camp is underway and firing at South America Snow Sessions and Catedral Alta Patagonia (the resort) is going off.

Unlike North American shred camps, it's actually winter at SASS and their focus is on backcountry jumps, avalanche awareness, and big mountain riding. But don't worry kids, there's even a full terrain park setup to work with.
