Opening Day at Brighton Resort: Bob Plumb
Opening day at Brighton was nothing short of amazing. I crewed up with Matty Ryan, Cale Zima, Antho and Keegan Valaika for the first resort shred sesh of the year. Fog surrounded the mountain where about a foot of fresh pow waited.

Snowbird Opening Day 2008
It's official, the first tram was filled and Snowbird opened for the 2008/2009 snowboard season. Opening November 7th, it was the second earliest opening day in Snowbird history.

Life As A Movie Premiere Seattle
Surfers, skaters, snowboarders, boys, girls, and dogs from around the Northwest gathered Friday night to welcome Benji Weatherly and his new film, Life as a Movie, to Seattle. Weatherly set up trips to premiere surf, skate and snow spots, invited Kelly Slater, JP Walker, Kalani Robb, Todd Richards, Tosh Townsend, Chad Bartie, Tony Hawk, Dave Downing and had everyone share their talent and passion with the rest of the group.

Summertime at Mt. Hood with The Levitation Project
This summer the Levitation Project made a few trips up to High Cascade Snowboard Camp to slash some volcanic slush. Our last trip in August was very well documented with the addition of our newest staff member - Photographer Mitch Allen and he proved himself behind the lens quite well. Those lucky enough to be granted access to San Diego's Hard Rock Hotel were witness to the best offering from Grenade yet, The Boned Age. Truth be told things got rowdy and wet.

Monster went all out for the premieres of Runway's See What I See and Standard Film's Aesthetica. Hosted at the W hotel, this was the place to watch banger parts, party like a rockstar and dance until the wee hours of the morning.

South America Snow Sessions Update 2
SASS is done with session 3 and into it's final month with 2 sessions left. The entire SASS family enjoyed some heavy dumps of snow followed by a few glorious sunny days. From big mountain lines, to urban features at the base of Cerro Cathedral everyone is stoked.

HCSC: Mt. Hood Photo Update

South America Snow Sessions Update
SNOWBOARDER field correspondent and brilliant lenswoman, Ashley Barker recently checked in with us from her SASS summer post at the base of the Andes Mountain Range on the northern tip of Patagonia in San Carlos de Bariloche. Camp is underway and firing at South America Snow Sessions and Catedral Alta Patagonia (the resort) is going off.

Unlike North American shred camps, it's actually winter at SASS and their focus is on backcountry jumps, avalanche awareness, and big mountain riding. But don't worry kids, there's even a full terrain park setup to work with.
