Northstar at Tahoe

2/13 - Yesterday's superpipe finals went off. The level of pipe riding this year is amazing. Bright Tahoe skies, DJ Smokey's beats, and the world's best riders lured an enthusiastic crowd at the bottom of the pipe. A best of 3 run format allowed riders to throw it all on the line.

The ladies went first with Hannah Teter taking the win and $17,000. Teter's huge amplitude secured the 1st place position. South Lake Tahoe local, Elena Hight came in 2nd with her styley 900s and technical line. Norway native Kjersti Buaas busted out the largest air to fakie and landed a 3rdv place finish.

Danny's signature double grab 720s, back-to-back 1080s, and a smooth cab 9 secured the win. Andy Finch gave Danny a run for the money with his immense airs and technical tricks, earning $12,000 and a 2nd place finish. Keir Dillon rounded out the podium with his huge Mctwists and smooth style
