Location: Superpark 9/Lake Louise, AB, Canada
Who is the dude lending a hand on your double grab stalefish/tail grab combo?
The guy on the top of the scaffolding is Colin Jones; he is one of our principle cinematographers.
Where can kids check out the video clips of you at Superpark?
Kids can check out all my shots in Alterna’s new movie SHREDIQUETTE.
What is the key to riding hips?
Finding the fine line that will allow you to pop to the moon while still receiving some nice tranny upon landing. You must take a few warm-ups on the hip to get your line, and then on your way in you have to sit low in a good squat to protect your weak-ass legs from the Gs (kind of like a quarterpipe). Look at the top of the lip and push off into space, spot your landing and enjoy.
Which riders and tricks stood out to you at Superpark this year?
As always, Mike Osachuk was givin’ ‘er ass, as well as all the Fortins. There were some young shreds from out East who were rippin’ with good style. I liked the quarter-hip and the chairlift puddle the best.
