SUPERPERK PARTY: Boarding For Breast Cancer Auction at Superpark

Despite its foreboding reputation Friday, the thirteenth isn’t always such a cursed date. For example, Friday the thirteenth of April, 2007, was quite the opposite. On this evening, snowboarding’s best came together to “support” a cause that has a special place in the hearts of female snowboarders everywhere. Well, near their hearts, anyway…namely, their bosoms. Boarding for Breast Cancer hosted a bachelor auction in the Keystone Village which lured in the lucky ladies of Summit County with some of the hottest and most available Superpark invitees.

The highest bidders on each bachelor (and in one special case, bachelorette) would win a day on-hill and a dinner that night with their man-slave. With all of the proceeds benefiting Boarding for Breast Cancer, the babes could rest easy knowing that their hard-earned dollars were well-spent. Riders like Scotty Arnold, Pat Moore, Greg Bokencamp, Nate Farrell, Filippo Kratter and even Hana Beaman went for a handful of hundreds, but it was hellion Travis Robison that stole the show. Upon realizing that he wasn’t pulling in enough coin, Robison tore off his clothes, revealing the permanent ink running across his stomach displaying the word “Satan.” This was the exact moment where Travis went from being a “catch” to a “catch something.”

Eddie Wall was the big man on the bill for the evening, but opted out at the last minute, announcing instead that he would donate $200 per pair for any female brave enough to flash the bar from the stage. Needless to say, ample flesh was bared and Eddie was down $1,000, but most everyone else in the bar was up. In the end, money, shirts, and breast cancer awareness were all raised thanks to the lovely participants. Here’s the final tally from the night:
