When did you start snowboarding?

HM:10-11 years ago?

How has you season been going?

HM:Lots of comps, because it is no snow in Europe, but it’s getting better at the moment.

Name the best place you've ridden this season..

HM: Norway: Varingskollen. It’s always beat back home.

Have you been out of EUROPE this season?

HM:Not yet.

How is the contest circuit going for you this season?

HM:I’m 5th on the TTR-ranking at the moment and got some good results in big comps.

What was the best contest so far and why?

HM:2nd in O’Neill Pro Freestyle QP, because I didn’t get it with another BS9

Are you excited, stoked or nervous about the ARTIC CHALLENGE??? or all of the above?

HM:All I guess. Lot of pressure and I know that it’s going to be harder to win this year.

Does it feel different going into the Artic Challenge this year since how well you did last year?

HM:A lot. The press is all over me and everybody is expecting something new and crazy.

Have you been getting some media attention leading up to this years contest since you won the last years event on the QP?

HM:As I said: A lot. I’m going in studio tomorrow. It’s like Jay Leno in Norway.

Who are your TOP 3 riders at the Artic Challenge that you think will do well this year?

HM:I don’t know who’s coming, but Nico Muller, Risto Matilla and Scotty Lago are all riding good and riding with other good riders.

Who do you think is total Wild Card that may do well at the contest?

HM:Arthur Longo

Have you ridden much powder this year or is EUROPE still dry?

HM:Getting better, but I haven’t.

Who have you been riding with this season?

HM:New guys every day, but Ulrik is maybe the one I have been riding with the most.

Where is your ideal place to ride in the world?

HM:The American continent, because it’s better then Europe in every way.

You were in Argentina this past summer.... what happened there??

HM:Nothing! It was a cool trip, but we didn’t get any pow.

What does Henning do in the off season?

HM:Skate, golf, skydive, workout, study and watch American TV

What is your favourite thing to do besides snowboarding?

HM:Skydive. Rush without getting hurt all the time.
