Bryan Fox should pride himself in the fact that he has oodles of fun on his snowboard, and I can vouch for him, as I’ve seen it firsthand. The dude can’t stop smiling when he shreds, and it’s incredibly refreshing to witness. In a sport where one’s sticker job alone may qualify them to get free snowboards and energy drinks are becoming the new water, Fox is a invigorating breath of the old days when people lived to snowboard, not snowboarded to live. Chairlift rides nowadays may involve more text messaging than chit-chat, but I’m pretty sure that BF will be a TRU SNWBDR 4 EVA. LOL.

TM: How was it filming for the second Mack Dawg People movie this year?
BF: Good times. Last year I didn't film all that much, so I put a lot more time into it this winter.

Out of the People crew, who were you filming and traveling with most of the time?
The same crew all year; (Josh) Mills, Jordan (Mendenhall), myself and (Justin) Eeles filming. Eeles is legit.

Besides yours, of course, whose part is coming together really well? Who's got hammers?
Jordan and Mills have awesome footage. I haven't seen too much of other dudes’ footage, but from what I have seen, everyone put some sledgers down. Austin and Nima have some real cool footage. Look for We're People Too (shameless plug).

What are your plans for the summer?
I went to Mexico with Sally for a little vacation. Then I’ll be digging at High Cascade Snowboard Camp all summer. My older brother is getting married in July. Real excited for that. Maybe head down to Chile or New Zealand with Quiksilver in August.

You've been “summering” at High Cascade and digging with James Jackson for a handful of summers now, while the majority of your peers lounge out and relax in SoCal. What's the secret to not getting burnt out?
I enjoy snowboarding, not just being a "pro snowboarder.".

What is your favorite part about what you do for a living?
What do people always say? I just love hanging with the bros and doing what I love....Sickkk .

Do you have a favorite trip or exotic location that snowboarding has taken you?
Going to Greece probably. Anytime I get to travel with Louie (Fountain) is amazing. Skating, getting weird, and going on adventures.

If you could eat one thing for the rest of your life, a Cobra Dog or a Volcano Cone, what would it be?
In a perfect world, it would be a Cobra Dog for lunch, a Volcano Cone for dinner and another for dessert. I think Volcano Cones has the best ice cream in the world. No joke.

I agree wholeheartedly. Top 5 tips for having fun on a snowboard:
1-5. Don't do contests

Seeing as snowboarding is still in its infancy, where do you see our sport heading? What's the next big move?
Hopefully, people quitting their f**king energy drink sponsors.

Do you still have fun when you snowboard?
For sure. When I get over it I'll quit, get a job and snowboard on the weekends.

Thanks Fox. Have a good summer digging, getting buff, tan and eating Cobra Dogs.
