The day is done for the riders, but it's just beginning for the pipecutter. Yup, those walls are as big as they get at a towering 22-feet.

World Superpipe Championships 08 Preview
It's on—the 2008 World Superpipe Championships are getting underway in Park City, Utah. The Resort's top ranking Eagle Superpipe has been no stranger to the top shelf halfpipe game since it hosted the Olympic pipe event six years ago. Jim Mangan and the crew at Park City, and especially the guy navigating The 22' Zaug pipecutter have all been working overtime getting the site ready and getting the immaculate 22-foot transitions dialed for tomorrow's impending showdown.
Last year's defending champs are both present and accounted for, Shaun White and Torah Bright. The invited rider list also includes heavies Mason Aguirre, the brothers Mitrani, two time Arctic Challenge winner Kevin Pearce, and two-time WSC winner Keir Dillon who's coming in hot off a win at the Nippon Open. Then you got The Bulldog Andy Finch, Kelly Clark, Junko Asazuma and a slew of other highly qualified shredders. Oh, and Luke Mitrani may have landed a switch double backflip in practice today, just so you're in the loop.
There's even a JP Solberg registered to compete in the Men's ski event. Has the Uninc rider made the move to the forbidden planks? You'll have to check back for that and the full apres run down once the event wraps tomorrow here at snowboardermag.com - the realest site in snowboarding.
