Travis Rice debuts That's It, That's All Teaser at X Games
Now is the time of year that snowboard film teasers start to hit the web. These three to five minute shred vignettes are released not only to stoke out those media hungry riders looking for the newest in new snowboard trickery but also to appease the video's big money sponsors. While teasers can be really sick, more often than not they have more flash than substance. This is because in late January the sweet spot of the filming season is still months away.

Occasionally one of these previews emerges that satisfies as much as it teases. Such is the case with Travis Rice and Brain Farm productions That’s It, That’s All teaser trilogy. This HD epic, two years in the making, is the follow up to the highly successful Community Project. As a two year project Travis and company are able to draw from nearly twice the amount of insane footage for these trailers. The result, as witnessed the evening of January 24th by a small group of riders and industry insiders at Quiksilvers Board Riders Club in Aspen, was nothing less than spectacular. That’s It, That’s All is the most ambitious snowboard film to date and it shows. As we’ve reported in the past this production is so ballin’ that it has heli follow cams of heli’s follow camming, and it has a lot of them. Joining Travis this time around are Mark Landvick, John Jackson, Pat Moore, Scotty Lago, and Nicolas Müller.
Another major difference between That’s It, That’s All and Community Project is that it appears as though Travis will be much more the focus of the film than in the latter offering, and that is a good thing. Travis’s double corking madness needs to be seen to be believed. Director Kurt Morgan has captured the gnarliness of Rice and has come as close to bringing as much to the shooting from behind the lens as Rice does in front. I’m sure these teasers will be in heavy circulation on the web in no time. Those looking to be the first on the block to check this next level teaser can go to Redbullsnowboarding.com. Of course the web probably does no justice to the hi-def cinematography. This is all there is of That’s It That’s All until the full length film is released in August ’08. Who knows what they are gonna do once the peak filming season hits in two months.
