Mountain High Buck Off Season Pass Sale

On Saturday Sept. 1st, 2007 Mountain High ski are hosted it’s annual Buck Off season pass sale/jib festival. Nearly a thousand summer starved Socal Shredders made their way to Mtn. High to have an action packed morning of snowboarding fun in the sun. On hand to show their new products were some of the biggest names in the winter sports world including DC, Quiksilver, 32, Grenade and DVS.

With the temps expected to approach 100 degrees John Mcolly, Chuck Allen and the rest of the Mountain High staff had the jib park covered in snow and ready to ride a little after 8am. Anyone who showed up with a new 07/08 season pass in hand and a helmet on their head was allowed access to the late summer session. This made for a diverse mix onhill. Socal standouts including Kyle Lopiccolo, Spencer Link, Mike Brokeoff and Zak Hale were dropping in alongside novice boarders, many of whom couldn’t make it to the end of the runway without falling let alone a rail. In the end it was all good because when something unusual happens like snowboarding in early September, it shouldn’t just be the elite who get to partake.
