MAMMOTH OPENS TOMORROW: Winter Comes To California

Despite rumors to the contrary it has been confirmed that Mammoth Mountain, California will definitely be opening on Thursday the 8th of November. The terrain may be limited but the potential for good times is infinite. Expect Mammoths Unbound Terrain park staff to provide plenty of jibs and other obstacles to entertain. On hand at the opening will be pro riders and other reps from Special Blend Outerwear who will be performing their highly celebrated early season First Chair, Last Call celebration. Those shreds finding themselves on Mammoth;s first chair for the 07/08 season will get a complete Forum/Special Blend setup. Après-holics making it all the way to last call on Thursday at Lakanuki in the Mammoth Village will earn a free drink again courtesy of those fine fellows at Special Blend. Rumor has it that Lakanuki will have specials on blended drinks including margaritas and daiquiris all night long. Those too hung over to trek home after opening day should hang around all weekend and start this season off right. Let the California snow show begin.
