Due to an unseasonably warm spring season Mammoth Mountain had originally planned on closing May 26th. Mother Nature decided to rally for one last storm and provided would be closing weekend warriors with a foot of fresh snow. This prompted the higher-ups at Mammoth to extend their season through to the 1st of June. This last minute change bodes well for Golden State shreds as they are now afforded the opportunity to once again ride into June. With 2-5 feet of snow, a 22 foot super pipe and various jibs and jumps spread out along chairs 1 and 3 there is no shortage of terrain to enjoy. For those hearty souls looking to test their mettle on the steeps Chair 23 is running to the top of Mammoth. For more info on Mammoth’s conditions visit MammothMountain.com .
