American Skiing Company Extends Early Season Pass Deadline

Due to the recent power outages in Northeast cities, the American Skiing Company has extended the early season deadline to purchase a Season Pass at its Eastern resorts until Aug. 22. The original deadline was Aug. 18.

The extension was introduced in response to inquiries from guests who were unable to purchase their pass because of power outage-related issues. "Some of our potential season pass holders may not have been able to meet the August 18 deadline because of travel delays, phone or Internet problems, bank issues or the need to get homes or businesses back up and running," said Chip Carey, senior vice president of sales and marketing for American Skiing Company. "These extra days allow those guests affected by the outage to still take advantage of the benefits of purchasing a pass early."

Purchasing a season pass before the early season deadline provides guests the opportunity to save hundreds of dollars on products such as the 299 All-East Midweek and Regular season pass. In addition to lower prices, most season pass products include free All-East upgrades that allow access to all ASC resorts in New England.

American Skiing Company's family of Eastern resorts include Attitash Bear Peak in NH, Killington and Mount Snow in Vt. and Sunday River and Sugarloaf/USA in Maine.
