BozWreck 2 Is Done, Son

No one thought they would pull it off the first time, and now whether you love ‘em or you hate ‘em Matty Ryan and Nate Bozung have gone and done it again—BozWreck 2 is officially a wrap. As you read these very words the DVDs are being duplicated and shortly thereafter will be available for your hungry eyes to view on September 10th when the video will be released at exactly 4:20 pm. Well that’s not entirely true, but Matty was pretty sure that the video would be out on or around the 10th,, Ally Video (allyvideo.com) is already taking pre-orders however, so you can surf your way to their site and lock down a copy right now.

Myself and SNOWBOARDER Mag’s own Kyle Kennedy made the short jaunt from the SNOWBOARDER offices in San Juan Capistrano up the scenic coast highway to BozWreck’s makeshift HQ in Laguna Beach to get a sneak peak of the movie, and pile out with Nate and Matty for a bit. BozWreck’s makeshift HQ was more specifically a room that NEFF rented for Nate in Laguna, the entire contents of said room being a small table with a MacBook resting on it, some change, a blanket on the floor, and Nate’s ripped T shirt pinned to the wall from when him and Matty threw fisticuffs in the alley behind the apartment a few nights prior. If you thought that the whole “pile” thing was just for show, you were mistaken, shit’s real.

What we saw of the movie was rad, maybe I’m biased cause I’m not a mark or a hater or anything, but it was one of the few flicks I’d been anticipating and I was really ready to be hyped on it, which I was. I won’t give away too much, and I haven’t seen the fine tuned final product, but newcomers Cale Zima and Keegan Valaika went off, Bozung gypsied out harder than ever, didn’t get too see Matty’s part but I know he settled some stuff last winter, the homey’s section was sick and the soundtrack was well dialed.

The movie will be premiering towards the end of September in Salt Lake City alongside Team Thunders second release Gold Country, on September 20th at a club called Depot and again on September 26th at the Trapp Door. If you are 21, like to party, and are in or going to be in SLC make it to that if you can ‘cause it will be a good time guaranteed, and if not get a copy of the video online or stop by Milo and pick up a copy when they’re out and have your own premiere—duh!
