Our 2007 Female Rider of the Year Marie-France Roy may have dropped down one spot on this list, but that’s not due to her lack of dropping into some of the gnarliest jumps, lines, and street rails that any female has ever tackled. With two standout video parts in Rome’s No Correct Way and 1242 Productions’ Uniquely, MFR yet again took her park-riding skills to the pow, and as she spends more and more time in the backcountry, Marie continues to stun silver-screen spectators and stoke out shredding’s elite. This French-Canadian wrecking ball continues to silence the haters who refuse to believe that “burly” and “girly” aren’t synonymous in women’s snowboarding.
