Battle Wounds-Asstounding Landing

By John Thomas

Thanksgiving weekend there was not too much snow cover in the trees and I was hauling through them. I ollied over a log and landed in the dirt on the other side. I stopped short, rolled with it, but there was this rock about the size of a basketball, half buried in the frozen ground that was promptly dug out by the momentum of my ass. I rode for four hours more before I had to call it a day. The photo is the next day. X-rays showed that I am OK, and I'm riding again, with a homemade ass pad cut from my old hockey pants.
