Absinthe's California Premiere of Ready

Absinthe Film's Sphere of Influence tour made its way south from last week’s SLC showing to the sunny skies of California, bringing the best of the backcountry to the concrete jungle.

The first standout part of Ready came from big mountain master, Jeremy Jones. Whether you’re a park rat or gate crasher, there is something so unique about his riding ability that it’ll give you goosebumps. J.P. Solberg and Romain de Marchi put down huge, stylish spins off booters and natural hits alike.

There’s more than just the steep and deep in Ready, Mikey LeBlanc goes huge in the streets alongside newcomers Keegan Valaika and Cale Zima. Wolfgang Nyvelt joins in, too, getting sideways on two of the biggest wallrides you’ll see all year. The urban footage captured by Absinthe this season is the real deal, making this film enjoyable for all walks of shred life.

Ladies take note too, because Annie Boulanger is stepping things up and getting down in a big way. Her section is truly a step in the progressive direction for women’s snowboarding everywhere.
