Up For Grabs: Win Antti Autti's Snowboard Gear

After winning the 2005 winter X Games, Antti Autti ended America’s decade-long dominance of halfpipe competition. Back-to-back 1080s are this regular-footer’s calling card, and since he came onto the scene, technical spins have gone from huck-until-you-hit travesties to dizzying double-overhead feats. But don’t mistake Antti for a pipe jock. At the 2006 Air & Style in Munich, Germany, Antti stomped a 1260 tail grab to take third proving, that his riding skills aren’t limited to the lip-to-lip halfpipe arena. Now you can get his award-winning gear and take his board, boots, and bindings for a spin (or maybe even a three-and-a-half spin).

Read below to see what Antti has to say about his gear:

Flow Team Antti Autti 157
"I love this board! I can handle speed really well with it, and it doesn’t let you down in hard situations. It’s a great freestyle board, and for transition riding it’s really amazing. Graphics are straight from the rock-music world, but the middle logo is the coat of arms of my hometown, Rovaniemi. Whenever I go riding and I get homesick, I just look between my legs and smile."

Flow One Boa
"A simple and good-looking boot. It’s made for all-around freestyle. I chose the Boa system because it supports my ankles way better than laces. This boot is a great match with my NXT AT binding."

Flow NXT AT
"A light binding that can take some serious hits and still won’t break. I rode with the same [pair of] bindings for a whole season. My team manager Mutty told me to change them in New Zealand because they looked so trashed, but they weren’t. The best bindings I’ve ever used!"

: Billabong Sumo Antti Autti signature model
"It’s super-light and still really warm. I’ve been riding with this puffy in all kinds of weather. While shredding with this yellow/brown jacket, your friends will definitely see where you are going."

Billabong Rewards
"A really a basic pant, but I like the way that there isn’t anything too hi-tech on my outerwear—just simple things. These go great with my yellow/brown jacket, and for sure won’t let water in my underwear."

Giro Manifest
"This goggle fits perfectly, whether you are riding with a helmet or without one. The lenses are really good. I usually just ride with the mirrored ones because they aren’t too dark, even for night riding."

Giro Encore Antti signature model
"I like this helmet because I won’t get a head injury while using it. It’s light and it fits great with my goggles. The graphics are trashy, and the monster on the back is kind of scary, actually. I hope that it takes away the fears that I sometimes have while I’m doing some sketchy stuff."

DAKINE Mustang Gloves
"I’m just having good times grabbing my board with these gloves. They’re good for spring riding, but I use them whenever, because my fingers don’t freeze that easy."

This gear looks really cool, I am fairly new to snowboarding but it has totally filled my days with thoughts of carving up the snow. Counting down the days to winter & planning the trip, winning this gear would be a dream.
